Wettbewerbsbeitrag Rijksstudio Award 2017

A logo and business card inspired by the art work:
„Heinrich Casimir II, Prince of Nassau-Dietz, in a battle,
Jan van Huchtenburg, 1692“
I tried to pick the 3-4 most dominant colors of the painting and parallel I scribbled various horses and horse heads that would express vivacity and strength. I transferred my favourite draft to the computer and used Photoshop to arrange colors, text and signet. I created a second version with different colors. The result may seem a bit abstract but the simplicity and cleanness of the business card reflects what I see in the painting despite the terror and destruction.
I highly recommend to visite the Rijsstudio Website.
